Hello Beautiful People!! I am so glad that you are here. I’ve truly missed you and I apologize for being away for so long. This year has been rough, but I am grateful that we are finishing strong!! We’ve experienced the COVID-19 pandemic, grief and loss, confusion, virtual lifestyle changes, doubt, anxiety, depression, and a ton more! Yet, we are still here! As we are ending the year, I pray you are able to experience hope in all of its fullness.
Why HOPE? Well, because you are alive! HOPE because despite this year, there has been many blessings. Some were forced to dig within to use their gifts in order to advance through the year. The growth, the elevation….THE SHIFT. Have you felt it?…Do you feel it? You are not the same person that you were when you started this year! I am proud of you for pushing past fear. Whether you were able to create, sing, dance, start a youtube channel, blog, podcast, small business or maybe you were superman/woman by being the best mother, father, friend cousin, etc whatever it was, YOU DID IT. I am proud of you! I hope you are proud of you too.
Most– if not everything–has changed in our lives. Worship and church as we know looks a lot different than we could ever imagine. Live streams, zoom church services, phone conferences, and more have all taken the place of the physical meeting places. In some places, churches are able to meet, but with lots of restrictions. It. Is. Not. The. Same.
Despite that, one thing has remained the same: the name of Jesus. The most faithful, loyal, and selfless person I know. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Do you understand what that means? He never changes!!! Friends, family, communities, politicians, celebrities, trends, our lifestyles have changed, but not my God!!!! He is faithful to the ages!
Believe it or not, some Christmas songs are actually worship songs. Have you really listened to the lyrics and let it resonate within you? It hits different. Especially this year’s selection. These are just a few songs that can help you experience the birth of Christ in a new way. Yes, Christmas will look a lot different for us this year, but we can still focus on the reason for the season. Merry Christmas family. Let’s adore our King, together!
