As promised in my last post, lets dive in to see what it means to be broken and how we can get through it together…..
As we look around us, our nation is broken, our communities are ravished, and there is no unity, no peace. As we look within ourselves, we may not feel like we are at 100%. Essentially we are broken. Physically, emotionally, mentally, financially, and even relationally, we may be going through the ultimate struggle.
It feels like we are on the struggle bus with the following passengers:
Rejection and depression
Today, Jesus wants to be the driver of your life. He wants to put you back together again. He wants to rearrange and transform you into your better self.
When God breaks us, he does it to get our attention. He breaks us so that we can humble ourselves and realize he is the only one we can depend on. We are not destroyed when we are broken, instead we are strategically broken with grace so we can be used for His glory. As Tasha Cobbs sang in Gracefully Broken, ”When He breaks you He doesn’t hurt you, He doesn’t. When He breaks you He doesn’t destroy you, He does it with; GRACE”
In the story of Ezekiel and the Dry Bones (Ezekiel 37:1-14), The Israelites found themselves in a death valley. Why? Because their disobedience led to their distance which led to their dryness and eventually their death. God gave Ezekiel this vision to show him how God will restore and use the Israelites despite their brokenness.
You may be broken but God can still use you!
Based on Ezekiel 37, here are keys to live again in Christ:
Know God for yourself
Prophesy into the situation
Breathe in and through it
Stand on the word
That was just the introduction ya’ll! lol To learn more, please watch the following videos!
It’s been one year since I delivered this word (it was my first time might I add!) and it is still changing lives today. I would be remiss not to share the full video with you. I don’t know who this is for, but I pray that God will begin to put you back together again. He will heal and mend your brokenness. He will meet you where you are. You may be broken, but you will live again. Keep holding on ⚓️
